Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Over 5 years of advancing experience in computing or network infrastructure
- Minimum 3 years working in a cloud environment, ideally Azure, in roles such as cloud network engineer, administrator, or DevOps
- Proven track record in establishing and managing cloud infrastructure
- Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code and Configuration-as-Code
- Experience overseeing on-premise infrastructure alongside cloud-based IaaS and PaaS solutions (Azure), including virtual machines and networks
- Working knowledge of CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, Puppet, Chef, Azure DevOps, or others
- Proficiency in deploying through automation and contributing to application architecture for Azure
- Experience utilizing infrastructure monitoring tools and implementing DevOps procedures
- Background with load balancing platforms
Preferred Technical Experience:
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Server 2019/2016/2012
- Experience with Azure or AWS cloud infrastructure
- Skills in securing and monitoring cloud resources
- Competence in Linux/Unix environments
- Understanding of Cisco routing and switching platforms
- Knowledge of Palo Alto or similar cloud-based firewall technologies

- MCSE
- Azure certifications
- AWS certifications
- Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP)
Responsibilities
- Establish, monitor, and maintain Azure cloud environments, system hardware, operating systems, and network/security infrastructure for reliable operations
- Oversee Azure maintenance and outages, evaluate their impact, and formulate mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with developers and scrum teams for compute resource expansion and new feature implementations
- Ensure precise network and system capacity forecasts to avert service degradation
- Automate cloud infrastructure using contemporary methods, templates, and automation tools
- Enhance network infrastructure for IaaS, SaaS, PaaS, and other cloud applications
- Create and update documentation for the installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of cloud and on-premise infrastructure
- Investigate connectivity, performance, and security issues to ascertain root causes and implement solutions
- Engage in designing and executing hybrid cloud architectural roadmaps
- Develop technical infrastructure and cloud processes; integrate solutions into existing environments
- Provide consultation on development projects and assist with solution deployments
- Coordinate with service providers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve infrastructure-related concerns
- Participate in an on-call rotation and extend support outside of standard working hours if necessary
