Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field
- 3+ years of experience in automation engineering or robotics
- Proficiency in programming FANUC robots
- Experience with Allen-Bradley PLC systems (ControlLogix, CompactLogix)
- Strong problem-solving skills and hands-on approach
- Knowledge of industrial control systems and motion control technologies
- Familiarity with safety standards and electrical codes
Responsibilities
- Program and troubleshoot FANUC robotic systems, including setup, path programming, and integration with automation equipment
- Develop and maintain Allen-Bradley PLC programs and related hardware
- Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineers to integrate robotics and motion control systems
- Diagnose and resolve equipment problems, performing root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Manage automation projects from conception to commissioning, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
- Support production teams with process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain system documentation, including schematics and code backups
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and company policies
