Requirements
Must:
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law institution
- Licensed to practice in the state
- 3-5 years of experience in real estate law, focusing on transactional and litigation matters
- In-depth knowledge of purchase and sale agreements, leases, title reviews, and landlord-tenant disputes
- Excellent negotiation and communication abilities
- Capability to oversee a high caseload while managing multiple priorities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving proficiency
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team
- Commitment to high professional and ethical standards
- Experience in foreclosure, mortgage tax liens, bankruptcy, or hospitality law is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, leases, and operating agreements
- Provide closing assistance to clients, ensuring compliance with legal requirements
- Review title documents and address any issues that may arise
- Represent clients in landlord-tenant disputes and eviction matters
- Counsel clients on the legal implications of joint ventures and various real estate transactions
- Advocate for clients in litigation related to real estate issues
- Keep abreast of updates in real estate law and guide clients accordingly
- Collaborate with fellow attorneys within the firm to deliver thorough legal support to clients.
