Requirements
Must:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Over 3 years of practical experience in programming and configuring Building Automation Systems (BAS), preferably with Delta Controls
- Experience in integrating BAS with third-party systems utilizing BACnet and Modbus
- Understanding of IP networking principles including addressing, routing, and device communication
- Excellent organizational and documentation abilities capable of managing multiple project timelines
- Associate degree or higher in Controls Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline (preferred)
- Delta Controls certifications (Fundamentals, Advanced Applications) (preferred)
- Familiarity with EPMS, SCADA, or other building automation systems (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Develop and program BAS controller databases according to design documents and project specifications
- Integrate BAS with external systems using BACnet, Modbus, and other open protocols, ensuring effective communication
- Validate system I/O, control drawings, network architecture, and alignment of project scope before deployment
- Maintain structured project documentation, including backups, revisions, and detailed programming notes
- Participate in internal technical reviews to enhance standardized programming libraries and workflows
- Troubleshoot performance issues both remotely and onsite, offering support for post-installation service
- Travel to project sites approximately once a month for commissioning, field validation, and client engagement
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery
