Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience as an Application Developer or in a similar capacity
- Proficiency in Power BI or similar tools, with skills in developing and maintaining dashboards, reports, and visualizations
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies, tools, and practices
- Familiarity with manufacturing industry software solutions is desirable
- Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team, showcasing excellent teamwork abilities
- Outstanding problem-solving capabilities, especially handling complex issues
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of programming languages and databases
- Proven track record of managing complex projects with minimal supervision
Responsibilities
- Design and implement new software applications in alignment with the companys strategic goals and standards
- Utilize Power BI for the creation, development, and maintenance of dashboards, reports, and other visual tools to aid business operations
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to define, design, and launch new features that will enhance manufacturing processes
- Conduct thorough analyses of business processes and requirements to devise solutions for operational challenges
- Ensure optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks and fix bugs to enhance application functionality
- Maintain software application integrity and quality through testing, coding, debugging, and documentation
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to keep applications current
- Train and support users to maximize the utility of implemented technologies
- Engage in peer reviews and team meetings, contributing positively to team dynamics and project success
