Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Over 6 years of experience in Android development, focusing on applications or libraries
- More than 4 years of experience using Kotlin
- At least 2 years of experience with iOS/Swift, developing applications or libraries
- Commitment to best practices in the industry, including source code management, architecture, coding standards, and unit/system testing
- Proficient in multithreading and asynchronous programming
- Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform development
- Knowledge of unit testing with Dependency Injection, including Junit, Mockito/MockK, Roboelectric, and/or Swift Testing
- Familiarity with communication between external devices using USB, Bluetooth, or TCP/IP
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience in creating AARs, JARs, iOS Frameworks, and/or Swift Modules
- Strong interest in tooling and the development process with a focus on continuous integration
- Understanding of data security, encryption, compliance, data privacy, and relevant laws
Responsibilities
- Engage in feature enhancements and development for mobile applications
- Focus on Android and Kotlin development, particularly in constructing KMP modules and integrating them into iOS applications
- Collaborate with a remote team working mainly in Eastern and Central Time zones
- Utilize best practices in code management, architecture, and testing throughout the development process
- Communicate effectively with external devices via USB, Bluetooth, or TCP/IP
- Participate in Agile/Scrum practices to enhance team productivity
- Contribute to the creation of AARs, JARs, iOS Frameworks, and/or Swift Modules
- Ensure adherence to data security and compliance measures during development
