Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Paralegal Studies, Law, or a similar discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal.
- Strong proficiency in legal research and litigation support for complex cases.
- In-depth knowledge of the Discovery Process and ESI management.
- Familiarity with LAW PreDiscovery or comparable legal software.
- Exceptional analytical abilities for detailed case investigations.
- Skilled in scanning and organizing legal documents.
- Excellent organizational capabilities to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High degree of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
- Capability to meet deadlines and perform well under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
- Paralegal certification is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough legal research and provide in-depth litigation support on large-scale complex cases.
- Oversee all phases of the Discovery Process, including the collection, processing, and production of Electronically Stored Information (ESI).
- Assist with trial preparation by organizing exhibits, producing trial binders, and liaising with expert witnesses.
- Perform detailed case investigations to uncover pertinent facts and formulate case strategies.
- Accurately and efficiently manage tasks related to scanning, cataloging, and ESI processing.
- Utilize LAW PreDiscovery software for effective legal document management and analysis.
- Work collaboratively with attorneys and other paralegals to ensure productive case management.
- Draft various legal documents such as pleadings, discovery requests, and responses.
- Uphold the confidentiality of all sensitive and proprietary information.
