Requirements
Must:
- MS or MPH in statistics, mathematics, or a related discipline with a statistical focus and over 4 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, or PhD in statistics, mathematics, or a related discipline with a statistical focus.
- Proficient in SAS and R programming; familiarity with other statistical applications and programming languages is an advantage.
- Comprehensive understanding of clinical trial design and analysis, including complex statistical methods and principles of statistical inference.
- Familiarity with ICH Guidelines and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure studies reach a high-quality conclusion.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
- Capable of working independently with effective time management.
- Knowledge of Bayesian and adaptive design is preferable, as well as understanding of CDISC SDTM and ADaM standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead or participate in cross-functional meetings to enhance clinical study design, endpoints, and analysis strategies.
- Collaborate with study team members to ensure timely completion of study reports and analyses.
- Assist in the formulation and execution of study protocols.
- Review and contribute to the development of specific data capture systems and participate in their assessment.
- Create statistical programs to simulate clinical trial designs, perform analyses, and verify the accuracy of data and analyses conducted by statistical programming.
- Develop statistical analysis plans, conduct data analyses, and interpret results.
- Support the lead statistician on projects.
- Prepare for and attend meetings with regulatory authorities.
- Address statistical inquiries from regulatory bodies.
- Work closely with statistical programming colleagues.
- Oversee compliance with CRO guidelines to assure timely and high-quality deliverables.
- Evaluate and validate CRO deliverables.
- Collaborate as a statistical expert with medical writers to produce reports and summaries.
- Stay updated on regulatory requirements related to statistics and drug development.
