Responsibilities
- I will rely on you to lead the development and implementation of AI, ML, and generative AI solutions to enhance clinical trial operations, focusing on patient recruitment, retention, real-time data monitoring, and automated data collection system builds.
- You will be tasked with developing and implementing generative AI applications for automated clinical trial documentation, such as medical reports, clinical study reports, protocols, and patient narratives.
- I expect you to spearhead the creation of Digital Healthcare applications that provide medical and scientific tools and innovative ways of gathering real-world evidence (RWE) and engaging patients.
- Your role will include designing and developing predictive models and generative AI solutions utilizing diverse healthcare data sources such as clinical trial data, electronic health records, wearable devices, patient-reported outcomes, HEOR data, and phase IV studies.
- Collaboration will be key, as you will work with teams across clinical operations, clinical development, data science, and global medical and scientific affairs to address business challenges and derive value from AI-driven solutions.
- Building and maintaining strategic relationships with external subject matter experts, healthcare providers, medical researchers, regulators, and AI technology partners will be essential to ensure our AI solutions remain aligned with current technologies and methodologies.
- You will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and data privacy standards and facilitate knowledge sharing within Jazz Data Science and across Jazz Research and Development.
Description
I am looking for someone with an advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Data Science, Computer Science, Biostatistics, or a related field, and 7 to 10 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 3 years working with AI/ML techniques applied to healthcare or clinical research data. Familiarity with healthcare/AI implementation in the healthcare sector is an added advantage, as is experience in designing and developing digital healthcare tools. In terms of physical demands, the role will involve occasional mobility within the office environment, routine sitting for extended periods, and constant operation of computers, printers, telephones, and other office machinery.
