We are seeking an individual with the following qualifications:
- A post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
- Between 7-10 years of progressive IT administration experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a senior or leadership role.
- Proficiency in:
- Windows Server environments and Active Directory
- VMware virtualization
- ERP systems (Sage, Syspro)
- Microsoft 365 suite and its administration tools
- Database management
- Experience supporting specialized applications in agricultural, manufacturing, or greenhouse settings is a plus, with familiarity in Priva being an asset.
- Proven track record in remote access technologies, system security, and disaster recovery planning.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams in various locations.
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical capabilities, coupled with a proactive problem-solving approach.

Responsibilities
As a Senior IT Administrator, I will primarily:
- Oversee the daily operations of our servers, data storage, networks, VoIP phone systems, and mobile devices, ensuring that backup storage is scheduled effectively.
- Manage Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Administer and maintain databases, as well as Sage and Syspro ERP systems, along with related reporting tools.
- Implement and uphold remote access solutions (LogMeIn, VPN), enforce IT security policies, and regularly monitor systems.
- Support and maintain specialized software, particularly Priva Systems for greenhouse climate and irrigation management.
- Plan and carry out software and hardware upgrades, preventive upkeep, and backup/recovery strategies.
- Provide technical support, resolve issues, and guarantee top-notch service for all users.
- Liaise with external vendors, assess new technologies, and spearhead implementation projects to enhance business productivity.
- Maintain comprehensive IT documentation, including system configurations and operational procedures.

This is a full-time, permanent position, requiring 40 hours per week on-site. The annual salary range for this role is $65,103.35 to $125,966.37, accompanied by benefits such as extended health care.
