Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience through technical training, recognized certification, or work history
- Minimum of nine years of experience in computer system-related fields
- Extensive knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures in computer science, graphics, and information systems
- Experience in maintaining Operating Systems and support applications in both centralized and distributed server environments
- Strong organizational and planning abilities; capable of working under tight deadlines
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
- Valid, state-issued drivers license
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily operational support for the computer Operating System, including system security, access management, configuration, backups, and restorations
- Define network requirements, monitor LAN performance, troubleshoot networking hardware, and ensure the system meets specifications
- Organize and secure directory structures; assist/training staff in Document Management Systems and associated procedures
- Create and maintain functional and visually appealing web pages
- Outline hardware requirements and provide Computer Authorization and tracking logs
- Act as the primary contact for problem reporting, version updates, and monitoring support contracts
- Propose recommendations for future hardware/software implementations and oversee system upgrades from design to production
- Deliver operational status updates as necessary
- Analyze system logs to identify and address potential issues with computer systems
- Manage and administer storage solutions, including Network-Attached Storage and Storage Area Network systems
- Perform additional duties as needed
