Requirements
Must:
- A bachelors degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution or equivalent experience through technical training and recognized certification programs.
- At least 12 years of experience in computer systems and related expertise.
- Comprehensive knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures in computer science, graphics, and information systems.
- Proven experience in maintaining Operating Systems and support applications within centralized and distributed server environments.
- Strong planning and organizational skills, capable of working under deadlines.
- Must hold a valid state-issued drivers license.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate system specifications and install enterprise computer systems.
- Configure systems, establish standards, and ensure hardware/software compatibility.
- Maintain workstations and server systems with a focus on the operating system and network.
- Provide daily operational support for the computer Operating System, including security, access, backups, and restores.
- Specify network requirements, monitor LAN performance, and troubleshoot networking hardware.
- Organize and secure directory structures and assist/train staff in using Data Management Systems and related procedures.
- Maintain and design aesthetically pleasing web pages.
- Specify hardware requirements and provide Computer Authorization and custodial receipt listings for tracking equipment.
- Serve as the point of contact for problem reporting and monitor support contracts.
- Recommend future hardware/software implementations and process improvements.
- Schedule, plan, and perform system upgrades across various environments.
- Analyze system logs to identify potential issues with computer systems.
- Manage storage solutions including NAS and SAN systems.
- Integrate new technologies into the existing data center as needed.
Description
At JT4, LLC, we provide engineering and technical support to various western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy through our Joint Range Technical Services Contract, known as J-Tech II. We develop and sustain realistic, integrated test and training environments to prepare our nations war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for current missions and future global challenges. We offer a salary range of $130,000 to $160,000 annually, along with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) plan with employer match; paid time off; and tuition reimbursement, effective from day one.
