Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a related field from an accredited institution or equivalent practical experience through training or certification
- At least 9 years of experience in computer systems for System Administrator IV
- At least 12 years of experience in computer systems for System Administrator V
- Strong knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures in computer science, graphics, and information systems
- Proficiency in the maintenance of Operating Systems in both centralized and distributed environments
- Solid planning and organizing capabilities, able to work under deadlines
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
- Valid drivers license
Responsibilities
- Assess system specifications and install enterprise computer systems
- Configure systems and establish compatibility between hardware and software
- Maintain workstations and server systems, focusing on operating systems and networks
- Collaborate with the team to provide computer hardware and operating system solutions
- Deliver daily operational support including system security, access, configuration, backups, and restorations
- Define network requirements and monitor LAN performance; troubleshoot hardware issues as needed
- Organize directory structures; assist and train staff in using document management systems and databases
- Specify hardware requirements and track equipment configurations with authorization listings
- Act as the primary contact for problem reporting and monitor yearly support contracts
- Recommend future hardware/software implementations and oversee system upgrades across environments
- Analyze system logs to identify potential issues with computer systems
- Manage storage solutions, including NAS and SAN systems
- Integrate new technologies into the existing data center as necessary
- Perform additional duties as assigned

JT4, LLC delivers engineering and technical support services to various western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, commonly referred to as J-Tech II.
