Requirements
Must:
- Associates degree or equivalent military or technical education
- Minimum of five years of relevant experience in NISPOM/SAP/SCI security fields
- Completion of the Industrial Security Management Course is preferred
- In-depth knowledge of the National Industrial Security Program Operation Manual (NISPOM) regulations
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and graphics software
- Database management experience
- Familiarity with standard intel computer systems, laminating machines, and professional cameras
- Ability to qualify for and maintain a government security clearance
- Valid state-issued drivers license
Responsibilities
- Administer daily administrative functions for the security department
- Liaise with clearance granting agencies concerning clearance statuses and re-investigations
- Verify clearance levels for existing employees and new hires from the respective sponsors
- Distribute security badges to selected employees and visitors
- Maintain logs and records of issued badges and relevant information
- Organize initial, periodic, and exit briefings, keeping all parties informed
- Coordinate with staff for timely submission of documents for clearances and reinvestigations, including fingerprinting tasks
- Conduct security briefings for individuals and groups as necessary
- Guide junior clerical and administrative staff within the department
- Execute additional related tasks as assigned
