Requirements
Must:
- Military or technical training with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in NISPOM/SAP/SCI security fields
- Formal training such as completion of the Industrial Security Management Course is preferred
- Familiarity with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) regulations related to Personnel Security
- Knowledge of site-specific security procedures and requirements
- High attention to detail in all Personnel Security aspects
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and graphics software; experience in database management
- Familiarity with mainframe computer terminals, laminating machines, and professional cameras
- Valid State issued drivers license
- Ability to qualify for and maintain a Security Clearance
- U.S. Citizenship is mandatory
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and personnel security support to the unit manager and security team
- Conduct daily administrative functions for the site security department
- Communicate with the clearance granting agency regarding clearance statuses and periodic re-investigations for personnel
- Certify existing clearance levels for employees/consultants and obtain necessary approvals from appropriate sponsors
- Issue security badges to designated personnel and visitors
- Maintain records and logs of issued badges and related information
- Schedule and notify parties of initial, periodic, and exit briefings
- Coordinate with employees/consultants for timely submission of clearance documents and fingerprinting when necessary
- Assist in organizing security briefings for individuals or groups as needed
- Perform additional tasks as assigned
