Requirements

Must:
- A Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution and 4 years of relevant engineering experience, or a Master of Science in Engineering with at least 2 years of related engineering experience, or a doctoral degree in Engineering. - Four years of applicable experience in RF / Threat (electronic warfare systems) engineering is preferred. - In-depth knowledge of electronic warfare (EW) policies, practices, and capabilities, combined with strong analytical skills for integration and acquisition of training systems. - Expertise in analysis and design of IO-related systems across a broad range of technologies, including awareness of emerging technologies. - Proven ability to innovate and create new approaches for increased program effectiveness, with capabilities in problem-solving at a complex level. - Proficient in electrical engineering design techniques for specific projects. - Strong project management skills to efficiently guide engineering teams. - Excellent written communication skills for preparing technical reports and documentation. - Capacity to independently analyze data and make sound decisions. - Department of Defense experience is mandatory. - Must qualify for and maintain a government security clearance and hold a valid state drivers license.

Responsibilities

- Act as a subject matter expert in the development, integration, and deployment of high and low-power RF simulators simulating military threat systems. - Serve as a systems integration engineer collaborating with vendors to implement systems. - Offer expert analysis and recommendations on systems and equipment to leadership and engineering teams. - Identify and document system-level requirements for integration, including communication and control needs. - Validate and update power and control interface documents as necessary. - Assist in testing and ongoing support of advanced radar threat system simulators. - Develop the infrastructure for remote operations concepts. - Document modernization needs and provide cost estimates for range upgrades. - Recommend modifications and conduct evaluations for design deficiencies. - Provide training and mentorship to engineers, technicians, and operators on threat systems diagnostics. - Ensure compliance with engineering documentation standards and test procedures. - Aid in developing technical proposals and assessing their technical content. - Create and maintain technical documentation and specifications for systems and subsystems. - Conduct site evaluations and address engineering problems with strategic solutions. - Formulate test plans and technical documents in line with JT4s engineering processes. - Analyze customer designs, specifications, and manuals to assess feasibility. - Design and execute tests for system evaluation and debugging. - Document results of intricate analysis and design tasks. - Collaborate closely with Air Force clients to gather requirements and develop necessary documents and reports. - Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.
