Requirements
Must:
- Completion of technical training and four years of relevant experience; or an associate degree with two years of experience, or a related bachelors degree (engineering, math, computer science, or physics).
- Understanding of engineering concepts, principles, and analytical practices, enabling technical authority on related projects.
- Knowledge of modern technological developments to effectively address issues in the specialty area.
- Excellent communication and analytical abilities.
- Hands-on experience with computer systems and integrated software applications.
- Eligibility to qualify for and maintain a government security clearance.
- Valid state-issued drivers license.
Responsibilities
- Support developmental and operational testing for internal and external customer systems.
- Act as a liaison between instrumentation engineers and testing clients to ensure availability of parametric data for test data analysis, accurately reflecting system configuration and operational traits.
- Leverage expertise in the testing process while working within general technical guidance, specializing in video acquisition, data transport, and situational awareness within real-time mission support contexts.
- Conduct daily network monitoring and troubleshooting activities.
- Suggest enhancements for processes and procedures to boost efficiency.
- Adhere to established computer operation policies, standards, and procedures.
- Aid in maintenance and inventory management of computer hardware.
- Provide fundamental support for diagnosing operational software issues and develop solutions for identified problems.
- Organize inputs and outputs of computer data efficiently.
- Assist in investigating and identifying sources of non-standard irregularities.
- Analyze and resolve complex programming errors as needed.
- Deliver related support as required.
Description
JT4, LLC is a provider of engineering and technical support services to various western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy through the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, also known as J-Tech II. We strive to develop and maintain realistic and integrated testing and training environments, preparing our nations war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for current missions and future global challenges. Our office environment is standard with no unusual hazards, supporting a collaborative, efficient atmosphere. The minimum salary for this position is $65,250 annually, and we consider various factors such as experience, education, and skills when making offers.
