Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related field with four years of relevant experience
- Masters degree in an associated discipline with two years of experience, or a Ph.D. in a related field
- Valid, state-issued drivers license
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
- U.S. citizenship is mandatory
- Proficiency in backend programming with Python, especially Django ORM
- Experience with frontend development using JavaScript frameworks, particularly Vue
- Knowledge of version control and documentation tools such as Gitlab, Jira, and Confluence
- Familiarity with DevSecOps and CI/CD methodologies
- Understanding of Agile development practices
- Experience with RESTful web APIs
- Effective oral and written communication skills, along with strong organizational, planning, and time management abilities
- Additional advantageous skills include familiarity with Microsoft coding frameworks (C#, .NET CORE, ASP.net), experience in the DoD Developmental Test & Evaluation community, and SQL database tools (Oracle SQL Developer)
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Podman) and NoSQL databases (PostGRES, MongoDB)
- Understanding of waterfall development methodologies
Responsibilities
- Analyze user stories, requirements, and procedures
- Provide technical guidance to team members and project managers
- Work independently on high-complexity projects without direct supervision
- Design system/software and prepare related documentation
- Implement design solutions through coding and document the implementation process
- Organize and conduct unit, integration, and system testing
- Engage in software maintenance and sustainment tasks
- Offer direction or assistance to junior technical staff
- Undertake additional job-related duties as needed

At JT4, LLC, we deliver engineering and technical support services across various test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy through our Joint Range Technical Services Contract. We focus on developing and maintaining realistic, integrated test and training settings to prepare our nations defense aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrew for current and future challenges. Our Full Stack Software Developer role offers an exciting opportunity to design and construct both the frontend user interface and backend business logic for applications.
