Requirements
Must:
- A bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Assurance with a focus on cybersecurity, or equivalent training/certification
- At least three years of experience in computer systems security or a related field
- Compliance with DoD 8570.01-M, IAT/Level II standards is required
- Security+ certification must be obtained within the designated timeframe
- One of the following certifications is required: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, or SSCP
- Desired certifications include Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) or Certified Enterprise Risk Professional (CERP)
- Conceptual understanding of RMF, eMASS, ACAS, SCAP, and related processes
- Strong grasp of IT infrastructure designs and technologies
- Familiarity with various system configurations including LANs and WANs
- Ability to analyze cyber threat tactics and procedures
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong analytical skills and sound judgment
- Capable of planning and organizing tasks under strict deadlines
- Experience with planning and executing discussion-based exercises
Responsibilities
- Conduct research and reference reading to gather technical information
- Stay current with approved standards, codes, and procedures in the cybersecurity field
- Engage in systems engineering tasks related to cybersecurity and Information Assurance, following NIST SP 800-53 Risk Management Framework
- Implement risk management strategies to address security vulnerabilities
- Collaborate with the Information System Security Manager, program managers, and system stakeholders on cybersecurity requirements
- Assist in the creation of reports, correspondence, and technical documentation
- Perform additional job-related responsibilities as needed
Description
At JT4, LLC, we provide essential engineering and technical support to various test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract (J-Tech II). Our mission is to develop and maintain realistic test environments to prepare the nations defense operations for current and future challenges. We are currently seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst II to join our team at the National Space Training and Testing Complex in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
