Requirements

Must:
- A bachelors degree in a relevant field with at least 4 years of experience or a masters degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience, or a PhD in a related discipline. - Strong proficiency in C#, JavaScript, or QT5. - Familiarity with OpenMCT (Open Mission Control Technologies) is preferred. - Extensive experience in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript for front-end development. - Solid grasp of HTML5, CSS3, and contemporary web development methodologies. - Experience with AngularJS (1.x) and/or other component-based frameworks is preferred. - Knowledge of plugin-based architectures and modular software design. - Experience integrating REST APIs, WebSockets, and real-time data sources. - Capability to work with time-series/telemetry data and create data visualizations. - Strong debugging abilities using browser developer tools and testing frameworks. - Proficient in Git and collaborating in open-source environments. - Effective communication skills and the ability to produce clear documentation. - Knowledge of aerospace/mission control telemetry concepts is a plus. - Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government Top Secret security clearance and possess a valid state-issued drivers license. - Must be a US citizen.

Responsibilities

- Develop, tailor, and uphold applications utilizing OpenMCT for the visualization and analysis of telemetry data. - Design and execute front-end functionalities using JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3, adhering to current web development standards. - Create and sustain modular, plugin-driven software designs to ensure scalability and flexibility. - Integrate both real-time and historical data sources via REST APIs, WebSockets, and telemetry data pathways. - Generate and refine interactive data visualizations for time-series and mission control data. - Diagnose, test, and resolve application issues using browser developer tools and testing frameworks. - Collaborate with the development team using Git workflows and engage in open-source practices. - Produce precise technical documentation and effectively share solutions within a team-oriented environment. - Utilize knowledge of aerospace and mission control telemetry to guarantee that solutions align with operational needs.
