- Proficient in Laravel Nova and/or Livewire.
- Strong background in Python development.
- Solid experience working with MySQL, including schema design and optimization.
- Experience in building API integrations (REST/OAuth).
- Familiarity with Docker for containerized development.
- Knowledge of CI/CD practices, preferably using GitHub Actions.
- Experience in cloud environments.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Clear and proactive communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and assume ownership of your work.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain PHP/Laravel applications, inclusive of Laravel Nova components.
- Construct and enhance internal tools, dashboards, and backend functionalities.
- Maintain and extend Python-based automation and data processing services.
- Integrate with external APIs (REST/OAuth).
- Manage MySQL queries, migrations, and performance enhancements.
- Operate within Docker-based frameworks.
- Improve CI/CD workflows.
- Identify and resolve production issues.
- Collaborate closely with leadership on architecture and feature planning.
- Ensure reliability, proper documentation, and adherence to best practices across all systems.

Description
We are a company focused on building and maintaining internal applications, automation tools, reporting systems, and data integrations that assist in publishing, marketing, and operational workflows. Our software powers various dashboards, backend services, and business tools used throughout the organization. As we shift our development efforts in-house, we are seeking a senior-level engineer ready to take ownership of our current systems and guide future development. This hybrid role allows for mostly remote work, but occasional on-site collaboration may be necessary. Candidates should reside in the United States and be able to travel on-site periodically, preferably in the DFW area. The compensation ranges from $50 to $80 per hour, depending on experience, with an expected workload of approximately 30 hours per week. This position is a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity based on performance and offers a flexible schedule during standard business hours.
