Requirements
Must:
- Minimum 12 years of experience in UAT testing for enterprise-level systems.
- Robust experience in creating test documentation, including test plans and test scripts.
- Practical experience with defect management and test management tools.
- Comprehensive understanding of SDLC and Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
- Skilled in analyzing business requirements and translating them into test scenarios.
- Outstanding problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
- Proven ability to identify process gaps and propose enhancements.
- Experience in government, public sector, or large enterprise settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with automation testing is advantageous.
- Knowledge of database queries (SQL) for data validation is beneficial.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business users to grasp requirements, workflows, and expected outcomes.
- Develop UAT test plans, test cases, test scripts, and acceptance criteria derived from business needs.
- Execute manual UAT test scenarios and meticulously document results.
- Log, track, and analyze defects using tools like JIRA, ALM, or similar platforms.
- Ensure clear communication of issues to development and QA teams and assist with retesting efforts.
- Coordinate UAT test cycles, schedules, and approval processes.
- Work closely with business users to prepare test data and establish testing environments.
- Participate in review sessions for functional specifications, design documents, and release notes.
- Provide comprehensive test results, summaries, and progress updates to leadership.
- Support go-live validations and post-deployment verification tasks.
