Requirements
Must:
- 12+ years of experience in enterprise software architecture, solution design, or a related field
- Extensive knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Demonstrated ability in designing complex distributed systems and high-availability architectures
- Proficiency in microservices, APIs, integration patterns, and middleware
- Strong insight into networking, security protocols, and identity management
- Familiarity with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Ability to create architecture diagrams utilizing tools like Visio, Lucidchart, or similar
- Outstanding communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management capabilities
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to ascertain requirements and articulate architecture roadmaps, solution designs, and implementation strategies
- Generate comprehensive architectural diagrams, documentation, and technical specifications
- Direct end-to-end solution design encompassing cloud, application, data, and integration layers
- Offer technical direction and oversight to development and engineering teams
- Assess existing systems and propose improvements to boost performance and scalability
- Ensure solutions comply with security standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices
- Assist in project planning, estimation, and risk assessment activities
- Engage with cross-functional teams including product, DevOps, security, and operations
- Lead technical dialogues, design assessments, and solution validation workshops
- Remain informed about emerging technologies and advocate for their adoption when advantageous
