Requirements
Must:
- Over 12 years of experience in software development with significant hands-on expertise in ServiceNow development.
- Comprehensive understanding of ServiceNows architecture, functionalities, and platform components.
- Advanced proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AngularJS, Bootstrap, and REST/SOAP services.
- Experience with ServiceNow integration tools and third-party applications.
- In-depth knowledge of ITIL processes and their implementation within the ServiceNow ecosystem.
- Proficient in Glide scripting and utilizing the ServiceNow API.
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and performance enhancement abilities.
- Capable of working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Preferred certifications include CSA, CAD, CIS (ITSM, ITOM, or other relevant modules).
- Familiarity with ServiceNow ATF, Discovery, and CMDB management is advantageous.
- Experience in workflow automation and orchestration development is a plus.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders effectively.
- Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced setting while managing multiple tasks.
- Sharp analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Design, construct, and customize ServiceNow applications, modules, workflows, and integrations.
- Develop solutions on the ServiceNow platform, including scripting, UI policies, UI actions, business rules, client scripts, and ACLs.
- Work extensively with modules like ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Incident, Change, Problem, Service Catalog, and Knowledge Management.
- Implement enhancements for the Service Portal and create custom widgets.
- Create and maintain integration solutions utilizing API, REST, SOAP, MID Server, and various connectors.
- Conduct system upgrades, apply patches, test functionality, and troubleshoot issues.
- Engage in business discussions, requirement assessments, and solution design sessions.
- Maintain documentation related to configurations, development activities, and architectural decisions.
- Ensure compliance with ServiceNow best practices, security protocols, and performance criteria.
- Provide production support and resolve platform-related issues promptly.
