Requirements
Must:
- 12+ years of experience in ServiceNow CMDB and ITOM architecture and governance
- Robust hands-on experience with ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping implementation
- Certification in ITOM Visibility or equivalent ServiceNow credentials
- Demonstrated expertise in data quality, CMDB standards, and configuration item lifecycle management
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with experience engaging senior leadership and managing stakeholder relationships
- Background in collaborating with Managed Service Providers or vendor-managed support teams
- Familiarity with CSDM and ITAM deployment strategies (preferred)
- Experience in establishing CMDB maturity models and progression roadmaps (preferred)
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and enterprise IT operations (preferred)
- Strong project management and planning capabilities (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Supervise the daily governance and operational execution of the CMDB across the ServiceNow platform
- Formulate and implement strategies to enhance CMDB processes, data integrity, and architectural design
- Spearhead the implementation of ServiceNow Discovery and broaden CMDB functionalities to incorporate Service Mapping, CSDM, and ITAM
- Develop CMDB policies, standards, data models, and RACI (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, Informed) structures
- Oversee and instruct Managed Service Providers to guarantee data accuracy, compliance, and performance
- Create roadmaps, generate documentation, and provide strategic insights to executives and technical teams
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that CMDB and ITOM capabilities align with business goals
- Assist in project planning, risk management, and delivery oversight
