Requirements
Must:
- 12+ years of professional experience as a Security Engineer or in a related cybersecurity position.
- Strong practical knowledge of SIEM tools, including Splunk, QRadar, or Sentinel.
- Extensive understanding of networking concepts, firewalls, VPNs, threat intelligence, and incident response.
- Experience with authentication and identity management controls such as MFA, SSO, SAML, OAuth, and Active Directory.
- Demonstrated expertise in secure cloud architecture and services.
- Solid grasp of encryption, key management, and various security protocols.
- Capability to perform threat hunting, forensics, and real-time system monitoring.
- Familiarity with automation or scripting tools like Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Exceptional communication and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Relevant certifications preferred, including CISSP, CISM, CEH, OSCP, CCSP, or GIAC.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and uphold an enterprise security framework, policies, and standards.
- Conduct vulnerability evaluations, penetration tests, and security audits for networks and application settings.
- Supervise security systems to detect suspicious activities, threats, and breaches.
- Lead incident response initiatives, involving investigation, remediation, documentation, and reporting.
- Oversee security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, endpoint protection, and access management systems.
- Enhance cloud security across platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory standards such as SOC2, ISO 27001, NIST, HIPAA, or PCI.
- Assess and integrate emerging security technologies and automation solutions.
- Collaborate with IT, DevOps, legal, and product teams to advocate for security best practices.
- Create security documentation, training materials, and risk management strategies.
