Requirements
Must:
- 12+ years of extensive IT experience with a solid foundation in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)
- Proficient in Jenkins and Groovy scripting for continuous integration and delivery processes
- Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated experience managing Kubernetes environments
- Hands-on familiarity with Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana
- Knowledge of infrastructure automation and monitoring tools
- Strong understanding of secure DevOps practices and vulnerability management
- Proven ability to conduct root cause analysis for incidents
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and mentoring abilities
Responsibilities
- Spearhead the development and refinement of DevOps methodologies within our organization
- Develop, sustain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines utilizing Jenkins and Groovy
- Oversee and manage Kubernetes clusters and associated infrastructure
- Establish, manage, and enhance the ELK Stack for effective monitoring and logging
- Create and uphold continuous build, integration, and deployment systems
- Analyze, verify, and debug software code to boost reliability and performance
- Set up tools, systems, and frameworks for development, testing, and deployment
- Monitor product and operational workflows throughout the entire lifecycle to enhance reliability
- Foster automation to streamline delivery processes
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and implement security measures
- Lead incident management efforts and perform root cause analysis
- Select, integrate, and deploy various DevOps and CI/CD tools
- Promote ongoing improvement initiatives in deployment and release operations
- Mentor and support junior members of the DevOps and engineering teams
- Engage and collaborate with internal teams and external partners
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and customer experience metrics to inform decision-making
- Provide regular updates to leadership and clients regarding progress and performance
