Requirements
Must:
- 12+ years of overall IT experience with at least 7 years dedicated to SAP HANA.
- Demonstrated expertise in SAP HANA architecture, design, deployment, and administration.
- Proficient in HANA modeling, SQL scripting, calculation views, and performance enhancement.
- Comprehensive knowledge of SAP BW/4HANA, S/4HANA integration, and associated SAP ecosystems.
- Familiarity with system monitoring and issue resolution utilizing SAP tools like HANA Studio, HANA Cockpit, and Solution Manager.
- Strong understanding of Linux environments typically employed for SAP HANA implementations.
- Experience in backup and recovery strategies, system replication, and high-availability setups.
- Capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams and articulating complex technical ideas effectively.
- Strong analytical skills with the capability to steer technical conversations and architectural choices.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
Responsibilities
- Spearhead the design, execution, and administration of SAP HANA systems across development, testing, and production environments.
- Architect and enhance SAP HANA database solutions, focusing on performance tuning and in-memory processing techniques.
- Create and sustain SAP HANA data models, views, stored procedures, and analytics components.
- Supervise system installations, updates, patches, and configuration modifications.
- Collaborate with SAP Basis, security, and application teams to guarantee system stability and smooth integrations.
- Track system performance indicators and proactively pinpoint performance issues and enhancement opportunities.
- Ensure data governance, accuracy, and effective resource utilization.
- Assist project teams with requirements gathering, solution design assessments, and technical documentation.
- Diagnose system issues and conduct root-cause analysis for complex technical challenges.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and cross-functional team members.
