Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in testing Java programs
- Proven expertise in DB2 and Postgres database technologies
- Comprehensive knowledge of the software development life cycle, including test case creation and execution, integration testing, and deployment
- Skilled in troubleshooting, testing, and debugging software to achieve desired outcomes
- Strong analytical abilities for supporting non-database functions, fixing data errors, and producing data analysis reports
- Experience in drafting thorough documentation for both program-level and user-level
- Excellent communication skills for obtaining user approval on changes before implementation
- Ability to adhere to organizational guidelines and procedures for checking out source code and migrating changes
- Dedication to improving software efficiency and minimizing operational time
- Java programming experience is a plus
- Hands-on experience with AWS is desirable
- Familiarity with Kofax is advantageous
Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and create detailed test plans, scenarios, and cases
- Conduct testing activities for Java programs on distributed platforms
- Demonstrate strong proficiency with database technologies such as Postgres and DB2, including executing queries and verifying data
- Implement changes to test programs, update test files, run tests, review outcomes, and ensure program modifications align with requirements
- Utilize Jira for project management and testing tracking
- Prepare both program-level and user-level documentation to support the software development life cycle
- Organize and guide teams to achieve testing objectives while meeting tight deadlines through open communication and collaboration
