Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
- Over 12 years of experience in information security, emphasizing product security
- Demonstrated expertise in threat modeling, secure software development, and vulnerability management
- Practical knowledge of security testing tools, penetration testing, and code analysis
- Comprehensive understanding of security standards and frameworks (e.g., OWASP, NIST, ISO 27001)
- Familiarity with cloud security, DevSecOps practices, and CI/CD pipeline integration
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities
- Experience in leadership roles, including mentoring teams and overseeing security projects
- Capability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and shape product security strategies
Responsibilities
- Spearhead the formulation and execution of security strategies for products, ensuring compliance with industry standards and our internal security policies
- Conduct risk assessments, threat modeling, and vulnerability analyses for both new and existing products
- Partner with product development, DevOps, and QA teams to incorporate security into the product lifecycle
- Supervise security testing activities, such as penetration tests, code reviews, and system audits
- Examine security incidents, provide root cause analysis, and develop remediation plans
- Create and maintain security metrics, reporting the products security posture to leadership
- Mentor and guide junior security engineers, fostering technical expertise and knowledge sharing
- Keep abreast of emerging threats, attack vectors, and relevant security technologies
- Formulate and enforce security best practices and guidelines for product teams
