Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Over 12 years of practical software development experience using core Java and the Spring framework
- Extensive experience in microservices architecture and development with Spring Boot
- Demonstrated ability in creating scalable cloud-native applications (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Strong familiarity with REST APIs, message queues, API Gateway, and service mesh technologies
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and build tools like Jenkins, Git, Maven, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Solid grasp of relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.)
- Background in cloud monitoring and logging tools
- Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and leadership abilities
- Capable of managing and delivering projects within an agile environment
- Experience with event-driven architecture using Kafka or similar solutions (preferred)
- Understanding of security standards, authentication, and authorization frameworks such as OAuth2 or JWT (preferred)
- Familiarity with container orchestration and infrastructure automation (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of applications based on microservices utilizing Java, Spring Boot, and cloud technologies
- Architect scalable and distributed systems to ensure high availability and optimal performance
- Mentor and guide development teams, enforce coding standards, and carry out code reviews
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product managers, and architecture teams to define project requirements and convert them into technical solutions
- Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with various systems, databases, and external services
- Work in coordination with DevOps teams to automate build, deployment, and monitoring processes
- Troubleshoot complex issues in production, perform performance tuning, and ensure seamless operation of systems
- Implement industry best practices related to security, testing, and software quality
- Document system architectures, processes, and operational procedures
