Requirements
Must:
- 12+ years of backend development expertise utilizing Java.
- Proficient hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate, JPA, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture.
- Strong understanding of both relational and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, or Cassandra.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Expertise in CI/CD practices using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, Maven, or Gradle.
- Experience with message-driven systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.
- Strong grasp of system design, distributed systems, and scalability concepts.
- Comprehensive knowledge of secure coding practices, along with authentication and authorization standards.
- Proven ability to lead teams, independently drive solutions, and engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead the backend development team to design, develop, and deploy secure and scalable backend services.
- Architect and implement high-quality solutions with Java, Spring, and microservices frameworks.
- Drive technical decisions, establish coding standards, and enforce best practices in backend engineering.
- Collaborate closely with product owners, architects, and project managers to convert requirements into technical solutions.
- Enhance application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor team members, and facilitate technical knowledge advancement.
- Integrate backend services with databases, cloud environments, messaging systems, and external APIs.
- Address complex production issues and execute long-term remediation strategies.
- Ensure comprehensive documentation of designs, processes, and system upgrades.
