Requirements
Must:
- 12+ years of practical experience in Java/J2EE enterprise application development.
- Comprehensive understanding of Java 11/17, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and REST APIs.
- Proven expertise in Microservices Architecture, Distributed Systems, and Event-Driven Architecture.
- In-depth knowledge of Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) focusing on cloud-native design.
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git, and DevOps methodologies.
- Experience with relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis).
- Strong grasp of design patterns, scalability, performance optimization, and security protocols.
- Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka and RabbitMQ.
- Capable of leading teams, conducting architectural evaluations, and influencing technology choices.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a capacity to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Familiarity with API gateways, Service Mesh, GraphQL, Serverless, or Kafka Streams is a plus.
- Exposure to front-end frameworks like Angular or React is optional.
- Certifications in Java, AWS/Azure/GCP, or architectural methodologies (TOGAF / SAFe) are advantageous.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Adaptable to working in an agile, fast-paced environment.
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field.
Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and execution of enterprise-scale solutions utilizing Java and associated technologies.
- Develop application architecture and a technical strategy that aligns with our business objectives and contemporary engineering practices.
- Design and architect systems based on microservices, reusable components, frameworks, and APIs.
- Offer technical guidance, mentoring, code assessments, and direction to development teams.
- Collaborate closely with product owners, engineering managers, and stakeholders to establish technical needs.
- Ensure applications meet high standards for performance, scalability, security, and dependability.
- Assess new tools, frameworks, and technologies to enhance architecture and delivery processes.
- Supervise integrations with databases, cloud services, DevOps pipelines, and third-party platforms.
- Resolve complex production challenges and conduct thorough root-cause analyses.
- Maintain documentation regarding architectural elements and established standards.
