Requirements
Must:
- Over 12 years of experience in IoT solution architecture, embedded systems, or cloud platform engineering.
- Profound understanding of IoT connectivity technologies such as MQTT, CoAP, LoRaWAN, NB-IoT, LTE, 5G, BLE, Zigbee, Modbus, or CAN.
- Practical experience with major IoT platforms including AWS IoT, Azure IoT Hub, Google Cloud IoT, or PTC ThingWorx.
- Expertise in cloud architecture, microservices, and API integration.
- Solid knowledge of edge computing frameworks and device management solutions.
- Strong foundation in data pipelines, analytics, telemetry processing, and real-time monitoring systems.
- Comprehension of cybersecurity principles applicable to IoT systems, such as device authentication, encryption, and secure communication.
- Experience in integrating hardware devices, sensors, gateways, and industrial control systems.
- Proficiency in programming or scripting languages like Python, C/C++, Java, or Node.js.
- Excellent communication skills with stakeholders and proven leadership capabilities.
- History of managing large-scale IoT deployment projects alongside cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable IoT system architectures, which include edge computing, cloud services, data processing, security measures, and device integration layers.
- Lead the planning of architecture, create solution blueprints, and conduct evaluations of technology for IoT projects.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements, use cases, and the scope of solutions.
- Integrate components such as sensors, gateways, firmware, and wireless communication protocols into cohesive IoT platforms.
- Drive the development of proofs-of-concept, prototypes, and validate solutions.
- Oversee the complete deployment of solutions, including configuration, testing, monitoring, and optimization.
- Ensure the reliability, performance, data integrity, and security compliance of systems.
- Work closely with development teams in software, networking, security, manufacturing, and operations.
- Set architectural standards, compile best practices, and maintain technical documentation.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to engineering teams and solution partners.
- Assist in troubleshooting, resolving incidents, and fostering continuous improvement initiatives.
- Communicate technical designs and present concepts to executive leadership and clients.
