Requirements
Must:
- 12+ years of expertise in software development, including 5-7 years focused on IoT solution design and implementation.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python, C, C++, Java, Node.js, or Go.
- Practical experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and platforms like Raspberry Pi, Arduino, ESP32, and ARM-based boards.
- Knowledgeable in connectivity protocols including Wi-Fi, BLE, Zigbee, Z-Wave, LoRaWAN, and cellular IoT (NB-IoT, LTE-M).
- Familiar with edge computing frameworks or gateways and real-time data processing tools.
- Comfortable with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of networking principles, cybersecurity measures, and device management techniques.
- Experience in Agile or DevOps methodologies.
- Preferred knowledge in digital twins, industrial IoT (IIoT), or smart infrastructure solutions.
- Background in data analytics, visualization, or AI/ML as applied to IoT data.
- Certifications in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (IoT specialty is advantageous).
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement IoT solutions for devices, networks, and cloud infrastructures.
- Integrate sensors, hardware devices, and edge computing components into enterprise systems.
- Create data pipelines for real-time ingestion, processing, and analytics of device data.
- Develop APIs and communication protocols such as MQTT, CoAP, AMQP, HTTP/REST, and WebSockets.
- Utilize cloud platforms like AWS IoT, Azure IoT Hub, or Google Cloud IoT Core to deploy scalable solutions.
- Implement device provisioning, firmware updates, and remote monitoring capabilities.
- Ensure the application of security best practices including data encryption, device authentication, and access control measures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to convert business requirements into technical solutions.
- Conduct performance optimization, system testing, troubleshooting, and validation activities.
- Prepare technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and deployment guidelines.
