Requirements
Must:
- 12+ years of experience managing enterprise information systems, infrastructure, or IT operations
- In-depth knowledge of system architecture, system lifecycle management, and enterprise IT environments
- Practical experience with cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems, virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V), and container technologies
- Background in enterprise applications, ERP systems, data management, and integration solutions (APIs, ETL, middleware)
- Thorough understanding of information security practices, access controls, and compliance frameworks
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to address complex technical problems
- Proven experience leading technical teams and facilitating collaboration across departments
- Familiarity with ITIL, DevOps methodologies, automation tools, CI/CD processes, and monitoring systems
- Outstanding communication, documentation, and stakeholder management abilities
- Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related technical field; advanced degrees or certifications preferred (such as ITIL, PMP, AWS/Azure)
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, execution, and ongoing enhancement of enterprise information systems within the organization
- Ensure system performance, availability, and security are aligned with established standards and regulations
- Manage upgrades, patch cycles, and version control for essential applications
- Work closely with business units to identify technology requirements and implement scalable solutions
- Direct troubleshooting efforts for intricate system problems and provide escalation support
- Oversee system integration projects, facilitating seamless data transfers between applications and platforms
- Create and maintain documentation, system architecture diagrams, and operational procedures
- Manage vendor relationships, evaluate contracts, and handle procurement processes
- Offer mentorship and technical guidance to team members and project stakeholders
- Champion modernization initiatives, including cloud transformation, virtualization, and automation
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and system metrics to ensure optimal service quality
- Prepare and present technical reports, status updates, and risk assessments to leadership
