Requirements
Must:
- Proficient in T-SQL for managing extensive data sets
- Experience in data validation, standardization, and de-duplication
- Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting data quality issues
- Knowledge of immunization information systems (IIS)
- Ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare providers and public health partners
- Understanding of HL7 and IIS data exchange standards
- Excellent documentation skills for data quality methodologies
Responsibilities
- Conduct data quality assessments on immunization records, ensuring accuracy and consistency
- Write and optimize T-SQL queries for analyzing, cleaning, and transforming large healthcare data sets
- Work collaboratively with providers, IIS personnel, and public health associates to resolve submission errors
- Create data quality dashboards, reports, and measurement metrics to monitor provider compliance and system fidelity
- Validate message integrity and field mapping to support the implementation of HL7 and IIS data exchange standards
- Investigate data discrepancies and troubleshoot submission challenges, recommending processes for enhancement
- Document data quality standards, methodologies, and best practices for both internal and external audiences
- Prepare reports for management that clearly depict trends, patterns, and forecasts using pertinent data
- Undertake additional tasks as assigned
