Requirements
Must:
- Over 12 years of comprehensive IT experience, including DevOps, Cloud Engineering, and Security.
- Demonstrated history of leading enterprise-level DevSecOps projects.
- Extensive knowledge and experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Bamboo.
- Proficient in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Hands-on familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- In-depth understanding of application security principles, including OWASP, secure coding practices, and threat modeling.
- Knowledge of automated security solutions such as SonarQube, Snyk, WhiteSource, Checkmarx, Fortify, Aqua, Prisma Cloud, or Qualys.
- Solid grasp of logging, monitoring, SIEM, and observability tools.
- Awareness of identity and access management, secrets management, and zero-trust security frameworks.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and articulate complex technical concepts effectively.
- Relevant professional certifications are advantageous (CISSP, CISM, CEH, OSCP, AWS Security, Azure Security, Kubernetes).
Responsibilities
- Spearhead the adoption and refinement of DevSecOps methodologies throughout the organization.
- Design and manage secure CI/CD pipelines incorporating automated security tools.
- Promote security automation for code verification, container safety, secret management, and vulnerability remediation.
- Work collaboratively with engineering and security teams to integrate security requirements early in the software development lifecycle.
- Establish security protocols and policies for cloud-native environments and container orchestration systems.
- Continuously monitor, evaluate, and react to security vulnerabilities affecting applications and infrastructure.
- Provide guidance on incident handling, risk evaluation, and remediation strategies.
- Assess and adopt new DevSecOps tools and frameworks to enhance security measures.
- Educate development teams on secure coding practices, DevSecOps methodologies, and threat awareness.
- Create technical documentation, security compliance reports, and architectural standards.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and governance frameworks across the organization.
