Requirements
Must:
- 12+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with a minimum of 7 years dedicated to cloud engineering and architecture.
- Proven hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
- Strong knowledge of virtualization and container technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Helm, or CloudFormation.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies utilizing tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
- Understanding of networking concepts such as VPN, VPC, load balancing, DNS, firewalls, and routing protocols.
- Comprehensive knowledge of cloud security, identity management, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
- Familiarity with logging, monitoring, and performance analysis tools including CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus, or Splunk.
- Skills in automation scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Demonstrated leadership ability to guide technical direction and implement enterprise cloud solutions.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and problem-solving capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Drive the design, execution, and oversight of cloud infrastructure environments across various cloud platforms—public, private, and hybrid.
- Establish cloud strategy, migration pathways, and modernization frameworks that align with business and tech goals.
- Architect and manage scalable, secure, resilient, and cost-efficient cloud infrastructure services.
- Supervise cloud network setup, identity and access management, storage, compute resources, and monitoring solutions.
- Implement automation and orchestration processes using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Ensure adherence to security regulations, governance policies, and disaster recovery and backup plans.
- Conduct performance evaluations, capacity assessments, and cloud cost management.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to modularize infrastructure practices.
- Lead troubleshooting activities for critical cloud systems and high-impact incidents.
- Mentor engineering team members while providing technical insights and documentation.
