Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
- At least 12 years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or enterprise data systems
- Proven track record of architecting cloud-native data platforms using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Strong knowledge of big data and distributed processing technologies such as Spark, Databricks, Hadoop, Kafka, or Flink
- Proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases, including SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra
- In-depth understanding of data lake, data warehouse, and ETL/ELT design patterns
- Experienced in data modeling, canonical data structures, and metadata frameworks
- Strong programming and scripting abilities in Python, Scala, or Java
- Familiarity with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, CloudFormation, or Kubernetes
- Comprehensive understanding of data security, compliance, and governance processes
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement capabilities
Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and execute scalable cloud-based data platforms and solutions for enterprise analytics, data warehousing, and real-time data pipelines
- Lead the establishment of data architecture standards, data models, reference architectures, and integration patterns
- Develop and sustain cloud data frameworks utilizing modern technologies such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
- Oversee the complete data lifecycle including ingestion, transformation, metadata management, security, and data quality
- Collaborate with engineering teams, architects, and business stakeholders to determine requirements and deliver data-driven solutions
- Direct modernization efforts to transition legacy systems to cloud-native architectures
- Provide technical direction and mentorship to data engineers and developers
- Ensure that solutions fulfill performance, scalability, reliability, and security standards
- Conduct performance tuning and optimization for large-scale distributed systems
- Foster best practices for CI/CD, DevOps, and Infrastructure-as-Code related to data platforms
- Support data governance and compliance, encompassing data cataloging, lineage, and access control
Description
We are seeking a Cloud Data Architect Lead Specialist Engineer to join our team in Little Rock, Arkansas.
