Requirements
Must:
- Formal education or certification in Computer Science or extensive experience (5+ years) with Azure services (including Storage, Compute, Integration, IAM, Networking) and Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Practical experience in cloud-native environments
- Strong automation and continuous delivery knowledge, particularly with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and Spinnaker
- Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (preferably Python) and experience utilizing the Azure SDK
- Comprehensive understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Insight into Azure AI services is advantageous
- Experience in writing and testing Azure policies
- Solid grasp of security best practices, Azure governance, and policies
- Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Capability to independently troubleshoot design and functionality issues with little supervision
- Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and maintaining operational stability
- Demonstrated expertise in software applications and technical processes across cloud, AI, machine learning, and mobile disciplines
- Familiarity with IT systems in the financial services sector
- Preferred certifications include Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solution Architect Expert; HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate
- Quick to learn and adapt to new technologies
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement cloud-based solutions using Azure services and Terraform
- Automate deployment processes and enhance continuous delivery practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation of various systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve design and functionality issues independently
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of applications to ensure operational reliability
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of security best practices and governance in the cloud environment
- Provide technical guidance and support throughout the Software Development Life Cycle
- Engage in ongoing learning to stay abreast of new technologies and methodologies
