Requirements
Must:
- 12+ years of practical experience in automation engineering, architecture, or similar technical roles
- Proficient in automation and orchestration tools like Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Chef, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or equivalent
- Solid background in cloud automation within AWS, Azure, or GCP environments
- Skilled in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, Bash, or PowerShell
- In-depth knowledge of DevOps methodologies, Infrastructure as Code, and configuration management
- Proven experience in designing automation solutions for large-scale enterprise settings
- Strong understanding of containerization platforms and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm)
- Familiarity with networking, system administration, virtualization, and microservices architecture
- Exceptional documentation abilities for both high-level and detailed architectural solutions
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline
Responsibilities
- Oversee the design and architecture of scalable automation solutions for enterprise systems, infrastructure, and applications
- Formulate automation strategies, frameworks, standards, and best practices aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and reliability
- Collaborate with diverse teams including development, DevOps, security, and infrastructure to establish end-to-end automation
- Assess current automation frameworks and provide recommendations for boosting performance, security, and maintainability
- Spearhead automation initiatives such as optimizing CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and infrastructure automation
- Execute advanced automation through scripting, orchestration tools, and cloud-native services
- Diagnose complex automation challenges, conduct root cause analysis, and ensure prompt resolution
- Mentor engineering teams and offer technical guidance throughout the lifecycle of automation projects
- Propel continuous improvement processes, system modernization, and the adoption of emerging automation technologies
- Create architecture documentation, technical designs, and solution roadmaps for stakeholders and leadership
