Requirements
Must:
- 12+ years of hands-on experience in Android development using Kotlin and Java.
- Solid knowledge of Android Studio, Jetpack libraries, Gradle build environment, and Android debugging tools.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Shell, or Bash.
- Familiarity with Git version control and CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab.
- Comprehensive understanding of Android system architecture, AOSP components, and system log troubleshooting.
- Experience utilizing tools like Logcat, ADB, Systrace, Perfetto, or Crashlytics for diagnostics and performance evaluation.
- Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, XML, and communication technologies including Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and USB.
- Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills pertaining to mobile or embedded systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and uphold high-quality Android applications, frameworks, and system components.
- Collaborate closely with product, hardware, and firmware teams to transform system requirements into practical mobile solutions.
- Create automation scripts using Python or Shell for testing, monitoring, log analysis, and optimizing the build process.
- Integrate Android applications with hardware modules, firmware layers, and low-level system APIs.
- Examine system logs, crash reports, and performance metrics to detect and address device-level issues.
- Assist in new device initialization, debugging, and validation with hardware and QA engineering teams.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines for automating Android builds and deployment processes.
- Engage in architecture and code reviews as well as continuous improvement efforts.
- Implement unit tests and automated testing frameworks to safeguard product quality.
Description
