Requirements
Must:
- Over 12 years of experience in software engineering or data/AI engineering, including 5+ years concentrating on AI and ML system development.
- In-depth knowledge of machine learning algorithms, deep learning frameworks (such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras), and classical ML tools (like Scikit-learn).
- Practical experience in building production-grade AI and data pipelines utilizing cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and ML engineering tools including MLflow, Kubeflow, Airflow, or comparable technologies.
- Experience processing large-scale data with Spark, Databricks, or similar technologies.
- Strong comprehension of MLOps best practices, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, Kubernetes, and deployment strategies for models.
- Proven track record of architecting distributed systems and data-driven applications.
- Familiarity with NLP, generative AI, computer vision, or large language model-based solutions.
- Excellent communication abilities and experience collaborating with business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, AI/ML, or a related discipline.
- Preferred: Experience with vector databases, embeddings, RAG frameworks, and LLM integrations.
- Preferred: Hands-on experience with enterprise AI platforms such as Azure OpenAI, Amazon Bedrock, or Google Vertex AI.
- Preferred: Understanding of model governance, ethical AI practices, and responsible AI frameworks.
- Preferred: Knowledge of microservices architecture and API design.
- Preferred: Experience in Agile development environments.
- Preferred: Certifications in cloud or AI engineering.

Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete lifecycle of AI solution development, encompassing problem identification, data gathering, model creation, validation, deployment, and monitoring.
- Design and implement AI systems and MLOps pipelines suitable for large-scale production use.
- Work closely with product owners, business executives, data scientists, and engineering teams to convert business needs into viable technical solutions.
- Spearhead research on emerging AI technologies and assess opportunities for their integration into corporate solutions.
- Foster automation, optimization, and ongoing enhancement of AI models and workflows.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and direction to engineering teams and junior AI developers.
- Execute performance tuning, model retraining, and scalability evaluations.
- Ensure adherence to security, privacy, ethical AI practices, and regulatory standards.
- Lead proof-of-concept activities and present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Document system designs, implementation methodologies, and operational processes.
