Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5 years of experience in network administration or engineering
- Experience with enterprise-scale or multi-site networks
- CCNA certification required; CCNP certification strongly preferred
- CompTIA Network+ and Security+ certifications are advantageous
- Knowledge of cloud networking (AWS/Azure) is a plus
- Proficiency with Cisco IOS/Meraki, firewall and switch management (Cisco, SonicWALL, Brocade, Fortinet)
- Familiarity with VPNs, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, DataDog)
Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure across various locations
- Implement and oversee routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless solutions
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and enhance traffic flow
- Enforce and maintain network security protocols, including firewall rules and intrusion prevention systems
- Collaborate with IT teams on infrastructure projects, cloud integrations, and disaster recovery planning
- Keep precise documentation of network architecture, configurations, and procedures
- Provide Tier 3 support for escalated network issues
