Requirements
Must:
- I am looking for someone who can actively develop project WebRTC APIs.
- You will collaborate with other developers, programmers, engineers, and designers to conceptualize and develop new software programs and applications.
- I expect you to analyze and evaluate existing business systems and procedures.
- You will assist in defining software development project plans, which include scoping, scheduling, and implementation.
- It will be your responsibility to work with network administrators, systems analysts, and software engineers to help resolve issues with software products or company software systems.
- You should design, run, and monitor software performance tests on both new and existing programs to identify errors, suggest improvements, and conduct general debugging.
- Critical analysis of test results is essential, and you will need to provide solutions to identified problem areas.
- You will be responsible for developing and maintaining user manuals and guidelines.
- Managing and/or providing guidance to junior team members will also be part of your role.
Responsibilities
- I require strong competency in GitHub and Jira.
- You should be experienced with WebRTC APIs and proficient in front-end development languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Angular.
- Proficiency in back-end development is also necessary.
- A solid understanding of networking concepts like TCP, UDP, HTTP, and WebSocket is important.
- Familiarity with codecs and media processing, as well as server-side media processing, is expected.
- You should be skilled in using troubleshooting and monitoring tools and should know how to read WebRTC-internals dump files and understand ICE failures.
- Familiarity with common WebRTC frameworks is a plus.
Description
This is a full-time, direct hire position with a minimum of 40 hours per week, and you are expected to maintain a regular work schedule onsite in Wixom. Please note that occasional evening and weekend work may be necessary depending on job demands. I prefer candidates who hold a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or possess equivalent work experience, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in similar roles. A Master’s degree and 7-10+ years of experience, as well as iOS or Android native development experience, would be advantageous. The salary range for this position is $95,000.00 to $120,000.00 per year.
