Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor of Science in Electronics or Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution
- Three to five years of relevant experience in electronic circuit board production
- Strong leadership skills in recruitment and team management
- Proficient in communication, both verbal and written, for effective presentation and correspondence
- Ability to analyze technical data and prepare comprehensive reports
- Familiarity with testing procedures and equipment maintenance
- Proficient in mathematical concepts related to probability, statistics, and geometry
- Ability to reason logically, define problems, and draw valid conclusions
- Physical ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 lbs and perform tasks in various work environments
- Adaptability to different communication styles based on team member needs
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain test procedures, tester hardware, and software for production
- Recruit, interview, and retain Process Technicians while coaching them during the hiring process
- Monitor and address team turnover by identifying improvement areas
- Identify strengths and development needs of team members, and create relevant training programs
- Establish clear, measurable individual and team goals to assess performance
- Solicit regular feedback from management and peers on team contributions and provide ongoing coaching
- Ensure recognition and reward systems are consistently applied within the team
- Communicate effectively with the department to facilitate information exchange
- Review circuit board designs for testing requirements and provide failure analysis support
- Prepare recommendations for testing and maintain documentation throughout the product lifecycle
- Generate reports on test data and provide technical analysis
- Manage engineering activities related to the development and calibration of testing equipment
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and compliance with company policies
