Requirements
Must:
- BS degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- 1-3 years of experience in software engineering and/or IT operations and infrastructure.
- Proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as Python, Java, and BASH.
- Familiarity with C and C++ is an advantage.
- Understanding of Linux fundamentals including CentOS and Ubuntu.
- Experience with hardware and API solutions for controlling and managing L10 devices (servers, network and storage SSDs, NVMe).
- Knowledge of IPMI, Redfish, mprime, FIO, Linpack, ptugen, and memtester.
- Experience in creating and configuring Virtual Machines (VMs) with DHCP, PXE boot, and nginx using VMWare is a plus.
- Familiarity with advanced networking systems, protocols, and hardware including enterprise Ethernet datacenter switching/routing (L1, L2, L3).
- Knowledge of Arista CloudVision is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving abilities combined with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Capable of working in diverse environments with multiple sites and cultures.
- Willingness to travel domestically and/or internationally, up to 10%.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary response contact for production issues, assisting with outages, end-user performance, change management, and monitoring.
- Enhance the efficiency and usability of our production test infrastructure and applications.
- Ensure all site test infrastructure software and hardware is regularly updated for optimal performance and reliability.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for manufacturing server (L10) and rack (L11-L12) test software and infrastructure.
- Assist in the planning, deployment, and assembly of current and future test infrastructure at the site.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation regarding installations, upgrades, and management of the test infrastructure.
- Communicate enhancements to manufacturing test infrastructure, offering insights on site operations and uptime issues.
- Support incident response, analysis, and corrective actions related to manufacturing tests.
- Engage in closed-loop analysis and responses to factory test failures.
- Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance on test infrastructure, including MDF, IDF, and SUT TORs.
