Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar field preferred
- 5-8 years of experience in a software role related to manufacturing test development/sustaining with enterprise server, storage, or networking products
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Experience with server hardware interaction, validation, and configuration
- Proficiency in 2-3 of the following core skills, with a willingness to learn: programming/scripting languages like Python, Java, BASH, C, C++; Linux development (CentOS/Ubuntu); managing hardware and API solutions for various devices; virtual machine creation and configuration using VMWare; networking systems and protocols; code versioning tools (preferably Git)
- Solid understanding of software engineering best practices across the software development life cycle
- Experience in multi-site and multicultural environments
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 10%
Responsibilities
- Design and develop test systems and procedures for hardware validation in manufacturing processes, including creating test plans, cases, and scripts for hardware components
- Develop, validate, release, and maintain test software and scripts to automate testing processes, including collecting data and generating reports
- Provide support and maintenance for server-level and rack-level test software and infrastructures at production facilities, implementing minor configuration changes as necessary
- Maintain detailed documentation of test procedures, specifications, and infrastructure for manufacturing servers and racks
- Collaborate closely with hardware engineers, manufacturing engineers, and quality assurance teams to ensure testing requirements and quality benchmarks are met
