- Education: I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a similar technical discipline.
- Experience: I possess at least 3 years of practical experience in failure analysis and system-level testing within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Technical Expertise: I am proficient in using the Linux Terminal and scripting with Bash, with the capability to instruct others in Linux fundamentals. I have intermediate programming skills in both Bash and Python, paired with a robust understanding of statistical analysis for data-driven troubleshooting and decision-making. A combination of education and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis. I have prior experience in a manufacturing context, especially with high-level assembly and hardware integration.

Responsibilities
- I conduct hands-on debugging and failure analysis of compute systems at both server and rack levels, systematically isolating root causes and driving corrective actions in a complex manufacturing environment.
- I interpret diagnostic logs and system health outputs to perform precise debugging and verify functionality of server components.
- I execute system testing and integration, identifying issues related to power delivery, firmware inconsistencies, network communication problems, and interconnect disruptions.
- I utilize structured troubleshooting techniques to diagnose complex failures, collaborating with teams to complete thorough hardware failure analysis and escalate systemic concerns.
- I configure and validate BIOS settings, troubleshoot POST failures, and analyze PCIe-level issues using Baseboard Management Controller (BMC) tools for system monitoring and diagnostics.
- I leverage Linux CLI tools for diagnosing hardware and configuration anomalies and perform real-time failure triage via secure shell (SSH).
- I conduct statistical analysis of test data to identify failure trends and support continuous improvement efforts, using SQL to correlate test failures with build history and maintain Power BI dashboards that visualize test metrics.

Description
In this role, I have the opportunity to engage in automation scripting, statistical analysis, and mentoring junior team members to enhance the performance of systems supporting AI/ML, GPGPU, and hardware accelerator-based technologies across various server, networking, and storage platforms. I will work on-site in support of our production facilities, with potential relocation assistance for applicants living more than 50 miles away. My schedule will include 12-hour shifts across multiple timelines, allowing for flexibility in work hours. I am expected to occasionally work overtime based on business needs. Additionally, my journey may be enriched by pursuing a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, and I will continually seek to refine my scripting skills and deepen my understanding of networking concepts. My clear communication abilities will help in articulating complex technical insights to diverse stakeholders.
